PT Blink on show at Sydney Build Expo 2022
Sydney, Australia, 18 May 2022 – Australian construction tech company PT Blink will be on show at the Sydney Build Expo from 1-2 June at the Sydney ICC, featuring the company’s unique Blink DMI™ methodology and open ecosystem approach to manufacturing buildings from configurable components. The PT Blink showcase (stand H37) includes an interactive Augmented Reality experience of the coordinated Design-Manufacture-Integrate methodology.
“We’re taking full advantage of the face-to-face format of Sydney Build Expo to create an interactive experience of the Blink DMI™ process for designing, manufacturing and integrating buildings from a kit of configurable components for any design,” says Ashley Brinson, incoming CEO of PT Blink. “We’re keen to meet likeminded people who want to embrace the environmental, social and economic benefits of Blink DMITM and join an open, collaborative ecosystem in preparation for the launch of our cloud-based platform and marketplace.”
Currently licensing its proprietary structural backbone and algorithm technology for project work in Australia and the United States, PT Blink is preparing a cloud-based platform and marketplace to enable a collaborative ecosystem to deliver property assets at scale.
“We have a very strong value proposition for Developers and Owners on the demand side and Designers, Manufacturers and Integrators on the supply side to work together and benefit from our unique integrated technology,” says Brinson. “The benefits of prefabrication and technology-based collaboration are well known and now we are bringing them together on one platform that enables our software and structural technology to be applied at scale.”

About PT Blink
PT Blink is creating a unique technology platform and digital marketplace* that enables the offsite manufacture of buildings rather than constructing them traditionally.
PT Blink reduces property project risks for owners and developers by bringing visibility, control, assurance and modern manufacturing precision to any property asset. By licencing PT Blink’s patented technology platform and Blink DMI™ (Design-Manufacture-Integrate) method of project delivery, owners and developers can minimise the risk of time and cost overruns that often occur in traditional construction projects.
PT Blink’s infinitely flexible geometry and parametric modelling enable millimetre-precise component manufacturing and mass customisation for any architectural design, while reducing project time by up to 40%, minimising waste and risk of worker injury, and enabling smart asset operation.
*PT Blink currently licences its proprietary Blink DMI™ method to clients on a project basis while the platform and marketplace are completed.
